CHATTANOOGA, Tenn (Rivermont PC) - Four members of Rivermont Presbyterian Youth have won the Kim Leasure Scholarship. The winners are: Katie Andrews Sarah Hart Laura Secord Dylan White The Kim Leasure Scholarship Fund was established with an endowment provided by Kim's family in early 2010. The scholarships are direct financial support of the youth of the congregation upon graduation from high school as they attend an accredited college or university. The scholarships are awarded through an application process that reviews the student's involvement in the church and its related activities. The maximum amount of a scholarship is $500. CHATTANOOGA, Tenn (Rivermont PC) - WEDNESDAY May 15th IS FAMILY NIGHT AT THE CHATTANOOGA AREA FOOD BANK! The Food Bank prepares fifty-five pound boxes of non-perishable foods which are distributed to families struggling to put food on their tables. Area agencies issue vouchers to the individuals and their families. Many of these clients are retired and disabled, living on a fixed income. The hours are 6pm – 8pm. Bring your family for a fun and meaningful night out packing food boxes for Chattanooga families! Note: children must be 12 or over and accompanied by an adult.
